Since I use both systems on a daily basis: IOS at work and Windows at home, sometimes takes a second for me to realize what I'm doing or how to locate files on the computer juggling from one system to the other. The main difference between Macs and Microsoft is that MacBook uses Finder as an alternative to File Explorer. I like File Explorer better and how easy is to follow a path to find specific files or documents. As organization tools both are great and can accomplish their main objective which is to organize and provide easy access and management of the information stored in one's computer. File Explorer in my opinion appears superior with the capability of separating files into default folders, such as Documents and Pictures, in a straightforward manner. This makes it easy to locate your documents in Documents and your photos in Pictures. However, Finder lacks this feature, and managing a large number of documents can become chaotic.
I use both IOS and Windows as well and from my experience each system pretty much offers the same thing as the other. One is just a little more polished (IOS) than the other but Windows does seem to be more powerful.
ReplyDeleteWindows is the preferred OS as it is user-friendly and has fewer restrictions than a Mac. I do use both but I like Windows more.
ReplyDelete2.3.4 Windows File Management Facts took you on a tour through File Explorer in the Windows operating system, but you gave me (a non-Mac user) a quick glimpse into Finder in macOS. Thank you Ani ^_^
ReplyDeleteI prefer Windows products over Mac. I agree that the system for Windows is much easier and is overall used more in the workplace. I use Mac for mobile but use Windows for every other system.
ReplyDeleteFile explore my life savier specially at work since I am constantly working with different files this help me keep things organize at reach.
ReplyDeleteI downloaded the most commonly used Microsoft programs on my MacBook so it's easier to turn in files hahaha!
ReplyDeleteWhile I am an Apple/Mac user, I 1000% prefer Windows Finder. I find it to be much simpler for the end-user to navigate.
ReplyDeleteWindows just dominates any other OS out there on the market. The closest to it is Mac, but Apple still has a long way to go. I speak from experience, there are always missing features that you just cannot find on the Mac system. Windows definitely has them beat when it comes to features.
ReplyDeleteI have only used windows in any sort of file organization and I can always just rely on how consistent it is.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Windows is an easier operating system to use and I personally prefer it.
